LabVIEW Projects #2 - Simple Low Pass Filter

Do you know how to present multiple plots at the same chart? How to create a simple low-pass filter? Or how to change the plot properties during run-time? This project will guide you through all these issues.

Project requirements

Signal simulation

• Generate sinus signal.
• Every loop iteration should generate only one sample. Loop period should be configurable in run-time.
• Step size (in degrees) should be configurable in run-time.
• Add noise to the generated signal.
• Apply low-pass filter for the generated signal with added noise.

User interface

• Three plots should be drawn in one chart -sinus, noise sinus and filtered sinus.
• The legend for the plot should be visible.
• All parameters should be configurable during run-time.
• Axis for the chart should have autoscale turned off.
• X Axis range should be configurable.
• Interface shouldn't contain any Stop Button. User should be able to stop application by clicking the window X button.
