State Machine is the most common design pattern used in LabVIEW. Mostly it doesn't require any sophisticated error handling, but in some applications we have to face more difficult problems.

In this case you get a requirement from your customer:

If any of the states will generate an error, it should be repeated specified amount of times. The retry number will be defined during on-site testing.

In this project you will have a chance to face this problem and solve it efficiently! You will also learn how to cope with shift registers and error handling.
